HEROES OC- DIEGO MENDEZ

There are a couple of my OCs I won't post in my gallery because they're based in series' that are based in real life. There's just something really weird to me about drawing something that should be real. Things like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings is fine for me because they started off as books first so it's easier to draw them but with real life things it's a little different. Maybe I'm just weird lol but here are 5 OCs based on series from real life. In the case of these OCs they have real people counterparts.

HEROES OC- DIEGO MENDEZ
Originaaly he was a very different character but after rewatching the series, I reworked who he is into Diego. I also stole parts of him from another OC of mine who I've recently deleted.

Hair- (naturally) Brown; (dyed) Blonde

Current Location- Brooklyn, New York
Occupation- (currently) Model & Musician, (formerly) Student at UCSF

Powers- Diego comes from a line of Mendez men who can somehow alter the future. His father, Carlos, had the ability to sense and avoid impending danger. His brother, Isaac, could see the future and paint it.
        Diego has the ability to deduce multiple event probabilities and choose the one with the best outcome. He can see life like a tree with one decision showing the branches of more decisions from that. Although sounding very complicated, his mind has a way of not overwhelming him with this knowledge. When he uses this skill, the world seemingly slows down around him, giving him time to pick the correct course of action but to the rest of the world, it happens in an instant.
        Diego can use this ability in many useful ways including making him very useful in battle. By seeing the actions his opponent will make, he can instantly dodge and counter any move made towards him.
        A drawback to his powers is that in order for him to see a possible outcome, a decision must first be made so a change in mind will alter the direction a course will take. Also if a person acts solely on instinct without thought to their actions, his powers are rendered virtually useless.
        When he uses his ability, his eyes turn white like his brothers but he can still see and act regularly.
    Recently, Diego has begun to exhibit the ability to see the past as well, hinting that his abilities may be more advanced than he's been using them.

Personality- 

History-
- Diego was 2 when his father died, Isaac was 14 and he took his father's death very badly as the two of them were extremely close. Isaac began to act out, hang out with the wrong crowd, and got his first taste of recreational drugs.
- Diego grew up in a household dominated by his brother's acting out. He was the one who saw their mother crying when Diego was arrested for graffiti, he was the one home when his mother found his stash, and she was the one who vouched for him when the school board wanted to kick him out of school.
-So, to counteract this, Diego studied hard and tried to be the good son.
- Things got better when Isaac left home for New York and they rarely saw him.
- Diego decided to study medicine and become a doctor, a profession he knew would make his mother proud. He even suppressed his own artist talents because he knew that his mother, a sculptor, would want him to nurture that gift instead of what was better for the family.
- When Diego was 16, he and his mother learned that Isaac was killed.
- After Isaac's death, his mother changed. She became despondent, hollow, and robotic. This pushed Diego to want to do well in life for her. He hoped that his ray of happiness would bring her back.
- But in Diego's second year of college, his mother died. The doctor's couldn't say what exactly killed her but Diego knew it was of a broken heart.
- For the next 4 years, Diego went to school but as time passed, he no longer had a reason to keep up the pretense that this was the life he wanted for himself. This was further made true when his powers began to manifest. He realized that he could see the paths of people's lives but couldn't see his own so he made plans to start to make his own path.
- So he packed up his life and moved to New York, intent on finding his brother's murderer. And he did. Before he killed Sylar, he made him confess to every murder he every committed. This was the first instance of his retrocognition. It allowed him to see the heinous things Sylar had done.
- He makes money doing modelling jobs and plays his music whenever and wherever he can.
